#74 - Read at least 15 books in 2009* · 12 April 2009

So I changed what was on this list. After staring to record the books I have read so far in 2009, I realized it wasnt part of the list. So I replaced the "Watch all 5 seasons of Alias" one with this one. Seems a bit more important.

  1. The Selfish Gene – Richard Dawkins (Feb 1st)
  2. Needful Things – Stephen King (Feb 13th)
  3. Different Seasons – Stephen King (Feb 20th)
  4. Watchmen – Alan Moore (Mar 1st)
  5. Boudica: Dreaming the Eagle – Manda Scott (Mar 1st)
  6. Geeks Guide to World Domination – Garth Sundem (Mar 16th)
  7. The Crystal Cave – Mary Stewart (Mar 22nd)
  8. Island of the Sequined Love Nun – Christopher Moore (Apr 1st)
  9. The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger - Stephen King (April 14)

#54 - Complete two non-language classes · 9 September 2008

The first class I am taking is actually at my local yarn shop, Make 1 Yarns. It's a class on how to photograph your knitted things and is on October 18th. Only cost me $20 and it will be a test, for myself really, to see how I like things at Make1. I get kind of an odd feeling when I'm there, so how this class goes may affect #14 (attending 3 stitch 'n bitches).

#42 - send postcards to cousins in the Lac every month for a year · 9 September 2008

I started this in May when I started the Direct Sales job. I figured seeing as I was going to be in cool places for the next few months, I would send them come cool post cards. I think they ended up getting 3 each month until August, then got one in that month. I must remember to keep sending them.

The thought now is though, do I keep sending them boring Calgary ones? Or do I send fancy ones that have nothing to do with anything, like I would send Heather or Nicole or Charlene? Or do I keep doing this for a year? They are in fact all under the age of 9 and as much as I enjoy sending them, I don't want it to be not fun for me to do. Will have to see what I can find for September and see how it goes.

#10 & 11 - Update Ravlry account with bookmarked knitting & crochet patterns · 9 September 2008

Update Ravlry account with bookmarked knitting patterns, and update Ravlry account with bookmarked crochet patterns. This has been done. They can be found at my favourite patterns. I've tagged them as well. I started by going through my bookmarks, disregarding the ones that were just ideas and added the ones I will one day make to the favourite list.

Good thing? They are in one place, off my computer, and I can see what other people have done with the pattern. Bad thing? I have seen more things I want to make!
